2004 Ford Explorer brake lights stuck on

2004 Ford Explorer 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

brake lights (not tail lights) are stuck on. had to disconnect the battery for the night. checked all the wiring and fluid level and everything obvious. mileage is about 38,000

Follow the brake pedal arm till you run right into the brake switch-now either you adjust or replace the switch.
