I am trying to figure out my fords problem,I have taken it to a shop and had them put it on there computer, they cant figure it out .So they reset the computer and we start over. What it does is seems to hesitant when you are trying to excellerate and when you are trying to maintain a constant speed. It kind of jerks, and hesitates, and sometimes sounds like its not running on all cylenders, but just for a few seconds and then its fine again. It is using ALOT of gas. I have changed the plugs and wires didnt make any differance. It started this during the summer, there was alot of cotton wood tree cotton in the air and it got sucked up in the air intake. It started running like crap after that and has never been the same.It also seems to run worse on a FULL tank of gas .I go and have the computer reset about once every couple of weeks, but the cant seem to find any thing wrong with there scope. Im desperate its my only mode of transpo, and I dont want it to get worse or do long term engine damage. PLEASE HELP!!!! Thanks Colleen

If any thing went pass and through the air filter to the intake
I would suspect damaged MAF sensor for sure
