At speeds over 78-80+ MPH -oil smoke out rear tail pipe (oil blow by)--no leaks, no change in oil pressure, oil full--slowed down to speeds at /under 78mph no problems on trip driving 2 hrs when this happened. Had not had vehicle out on highway for 5 months--driven daily in town up to 50 mph.

Blow by is caused by worn rings. It causes pressure to build up in the engine to a point the PCV can't handle it. What you are describing sounds different. If it starts at a higher speed, it sounds like oil isn't draining from the heads to the oil pan fast enough. As a result, it gets past the valve seals and you burn oil. To start, remove the valve covers. Check the drain ports in the head to make sure they are clear.

Let me know what you find.
