Service engine soon light is on code P0775?

My cruise control doesn't work transmission over drive light is on service engine soon light is on code p0775 is on I was wanting to know if this could be a sensor in the transmission that is bad or do I need a new transmission?

This could be a number of things that cause this code but we need to start with running through this testing to find out what the issue is.

The cruise is disabled due to the check engine light being on so that is expected.
