2003 Ford Explorer codes P0171 and P0174

I have found out what these codes stand for which is system to lean (bank 1) and stystem to lean (bank 2) but my quesstion is how do you fix the problem and what is it exactly?

It most likley means you have a vacuum leak, and with the plastic intake manifolds, it's probably where the two halfs meet, get a can of spray gumout, spray the vac lines and maniflod area, when the idle changes, youve found the leak! You want the engine running and spray on the outside but do direct the stream onto the hoses, if it is a vacuum leak, the engine idle will change speed, then you have detected a leak, repair the vacuum leak and see how it runs!
