Electrical problem
2003 Ford Explorer 6 cyl
Whilst driving all guages and lights turned off, voltage dropped to zero and the the engine eventually died as we coasted to a stop.
Now,my engine will not run unless it is plugged into a charger, once charger is turned off, engine dies.
The battery saver relay ticks, it has been replaced bu still ticks, all battery cables and terminals are clean and secure and the starter relay has been tested and is ok.
Is this the fault of the alternator?
