My driver's window goes down sometimes, and sometimes it doesn't. No problems with any other windows. Is it the switch or the motor? How expensive is it to fix. I am not a mechanic.

It could be either the motor or the switch. You need to check if the motor is getting power when it doesn't work. If it has power, the motor is bad. If there is no power, then the switch is most likely the problem.

A new window motor is around 50.00 at a parts store and allow about an hour to replace it.
