When replacing the brake pads, I discovered that the rear driver's side pads were completely worn. The 3 other axles showed normal wear. I have noticed a strange smell @ that axle a few times. Do you have any ideas?

Any brake fluid loss noticed? Inspect wheel cylinder to see if it is leaking onto that wheel causing brakes to lock up.
