Feels like the front end starts to bind up when turning left or right. Trying to find out how to check transfer case fluid and how to fill.

You will need a 3/8" drive ratchet. THere are two plugs on the back of the case. One is lower than the other. The lower one is a drain. The higher one is the level check. Remove the upper one and the fluid level should be at the bottom of the threads where the plug comes out. That is full. The same hole is where you fill it from. Here is a picture. You can see the two plugs where the ratchet goes to loosten and tighten the plug.

The drain is the lower left and the fill and check is about half way up on the right.

Let me know if this helps or if you have other questions.
