Brakes problem
2002 Ford Explorer 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

2002 Ford Explorer 2wd. I recently replaced brake pads and rotors. Also repacked bearings. 5 months later, when I depress the brake pedal I hear a scrubbing noise and occasional squeak. When I let off the brake the noise goes away. Pulled the tire off the drivers side and cannot locate any reason for the noise. It's driving me crazy. Any ideas?
