Dear Sirs,

I've consulted every manual that I can find, yet I still can't find out how to separate the front hub assemblry fromt the steering knuckle, even with the retaining bolts completely removed. I've rented an axle/hub slide hammer puller, and the "pull/push off" type and neither will separate it.

I'm at a complete loss! Please advise ASAP! I'm losing my gararge space today!

Thanks in advance.

Hello
Thanks for the donation.

Wheel hubs are usually quiet stubborn, they do not want to be removed. The best way to get them off is to bang around on them with with a heavy duty rubber ended mallet. You may also have to knock the axle back a little further as well. With the tools you have, you should be able to remove it. It just takes a lot of working with on some vehicles. Like I said, they don't like being removed.

Hope this helps.
