I have a broken rear spring, how do I change it. Do I need to change both if only one is broken? Should I Change both shocks?

Are you refering to a leak spring? If so, I would recommend replacing both. Also, check the condition of the shackle that attaches them to the frame. They have a history of rusting.

As far as the shocks, if they were good before the spring broke, they should be fine.

I just changed my back struts and found that both my springs were broken. So I think it best you replace both. You have to take your control arm bolt off and there are two others you have to take off to.

Also, make sure to check the shackle. Again, they have a history of rusting and breaking.
