My 2002 ford explorer cooling system seems to be building up high pressure to the point where it blows out my freeze plugs and the engine over heats rapidly. My dealership fixed the symptoms but not the problem. I have had the thermostats and plugs replaced numerous times but cant find the reason why the system builds up so much pressure and over heats - Help :)

I would suspect a bad head gasket. When it is breached, the compression from the engines cylinders will pump air into the cooling system or push back coolant that entered the cylinder to pressurize the cooling system.
