2002 Ford Explorer power door locks and dome light

2002 Ford Explorer 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic 69000+ miles

on my 02 explorer the doors lock and unlock by remote or button just fine but when o turn or go over a bump the doors lock and unlock multiple times very fast with a ding alarm and sometimes the dome light flashes on too. any ideas ?? thx guys

This could be caused by a faulty switch in one of the doors. The car is supposed to lock itself after you shut the doors and start driving. The sensor switch may "THINK" the door is being opened and closed (caused by vibrations to the faulty component) therefore sending signals to lock/unlock the doors and to turn on/off the dome lights.
