2002 Ford Explorer 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

the odometer and trip meter gauge is blank. apparently thelight is not working.we cannot see the mileage on the vehicle.please help me

IF you shine a light on it does it display?

Or is there no digital display there?

I shone alight on the display but it showes nothing.There is no digital readout.

Most often this is a bad instrument cluster. There are companies that rebuild them or it can be replaced with a used one, but the mileage will not be right doing the latter.
