2002 Ford Explorer 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

the odometer and trip meter gauge is blank. Apparently thelight is not working. We cannot see the mileage on the vehicle. Please help me

IF you shine a light on it does it display?

Or is there no digital display there?

I shone alight on the display but it showes nothing. There is no digital readout.

Most often this is a bad instrument cluster. There are companies that rebuild them or it can be replaced with a used one, but the mileage will not be right doing the latter.
