The door ajar light is staying on as well as the overhead light and I can't lock the vehicle even though all the doors are closed. I just checked all the doors and door locks and it appears as though my rear hatch isn't locking, thus causing all the other issues. I have the Haynes manual and have looked through it to try and find answers, but I cannot.

Please help. I have children and I don't want them opening the doors while I'm driving or anything like that.

Do you mean they won't lock if you manually lock them or the power locks aren't working or the key fob isn't working?

After some testing and review yesterday, we saw there was a cut on the back latch near the windshield which was left after the glass recall. I realized that because it happens mostly when it's rainy, that water might be getting down in there and affecting something, but I don't know what it is or what. I've gotten it to lock somehow, but the door ajar light comes on and it beeps continually still.

Okay, Fair chance that lubricating the door latches with wd-40 or similar that the dome light will shut off like its supposed to. Try it and post back with any questions or results.
