My wife said there was a great deal of snow built up in driveway so she reversed out through it. Shortly afer, when putting the car in Drive, the driveshaft (or something) goes THUD, really loud, you can feel it. It happens each time you stop and accelerate, but just once. If you stop and put it in reverse it does it louder and then when backing up it goes, thud-thud-thud and keeps getting louder the faster you back up. I looked underneath and there appears to be no damage! Any suggestions? All new springs, shocks, wheel bearings, so none of that.

Yes, this happens when transmission mount breaks, if you use a jack under the rear part of the transmission try to jack it up slightly to see if there is separation.
