2002 Ford Explorer Hot catalayic converter

I have a 2002 ford explorer in my shop only one bank of the cats are getting hot. The motor is also running rough. I have replaced the cats and the vehicle is still running rough and only the driver side cat is getting very hot to the point of glowing red.

Need to find and repair miss that is allowing unburnt fuel to CAT which super heats and damages CAT. Replacing CAT is last step finding miss first step.
