My four wheel drive won't shift into 4HI or 4LO. On snow I can make the car fishtale in what should be 4AUTO. No lights illuminate or flash on the selector switch. No noise is heard from the transfer case and no codes are recorded. The only recent repair I made was to replace the steering column. Any ideas??

There is a 4WD control module located behind the glovebox that is frequently the cause of the problem. Check with your local auto parts supplier or dealer.
