2002 Ford Explorer Erratic Low Idle

I have a 2002 Ford Explorer 90,000 miles on it. The problem is that when parked or at Idle, it erratically increases and decreses idle rpm. It never goes over 800 rpm's and it has died one or two times when placed on reverse. I have replaced the following and still the problem persists:
IAC Sensor, Trotle Pos. Sensor, EGR Valve, Intake Manifold O-rings, verified for leaks with a vaccum meter, spak plugs and wiring, gas filter, air filter, PCV Valve, Cleaned Air sensor & trottle body Assy. Any Hints on this? Thanks...

It sounds like you have done it all. Have you checked fuel pump pressure and the regulator? Also, other than a vacuum leak at the intake, have you checked vacuum hoses?

On the regulator I understand that if there is no fuel present when you disconnect it from the vaccum hose it should be ok! I have checked the hoses and also connected a vacuum gauge which shous constant vacuum with no drops on the gauge. The only thing left is the fuel pump which I will verify this week following the service manual that I have for pressure references.

Here is a how to video and directions for checking pressure and the regulator. And yes, you are correct. If there is fuel in the vacuum hose to the regulator, it's bad.
