Air Conditioning problem
2002 Ford Explorer Two Wheel Drive Automatic

No a/c blower speeds. Disconnected 1 & 2 speed wires from blower switch. Now have high speed. When I turn on headlights then a/c selector switch there's no a/c (blower). I then reverse the action a/c on first then headlights, I have a/c. Also instrument cluster lights go dim to out. Are they 6 volt or 12 volt bulbs.

Hi Thomas E. Margraff,

Thank you for the donation.

All bulbs used are 12 volts.

Did you check the charging rate of the alternator?

Charging rate is correct.
Was it done with the headlights and blower turned on?
Are there any other components that do not seem to work correctly?
Any performance or cranking issues?

High speed blower & Headlights on - 14.17 Volts. No other problems I know of. But found a red/blk wire coming out of the microprossessor at main light switch with less than a volt. It feeds the instr. Cluster lights an also goes to the audio/climate control switch & the speed control switch. The microposseor is getting 9.35 Volts with low beams on.
