A friend of mine installed my new car stereo. He caused a fuse to trip disabling the instrument panel lights. He fixed what caused the fuse to trip and the instrument panel light not to work but now my automatic headlights and instrument panel light stay on all the time even on bright, sunny days. Please advise on correcting this problem.

I need to know if your Explorer has DRL's? (daytime running lights) so I can look up the wiring for the headlight system

It does not have daytime running lights.

My bad, one more question, can you get the exact production date of the sticker on the inside of the drivers door frame? the other option is early or late production.Apparently this vehicle was built in a transition year
