2002 Ford Explorer 4x4 dashboard warning light

Transmission problem
2002 Ford Explorer 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic
----------------------------------------------------------------
There are two warning lights on dash regarding the 4x4, 4x4 high & 4x4 low. They are flashing on occasionally. Owners manual does not address this.
Possible cause?

Possible tranny slipping in higher gears
tranny trouble issue
you need to check for codes
have the tranny and transfer case modules checked for codes

Have it scanned for trouble codes, it could be either the speed sensor, or the shift motor...
