I had a new transmission put in last march an before that, my 4 wheel drive worked, I didnt have use for after I got the new transmission, an now thats its back to snowing, I wanted to use it, an its not working. Could it be from getting the new transmission? How much would it cost to fix?

Chances are when they did the transmission, the knocked some vacuum lines off. I would recommend taking it back to them and having them check their work. Explain to them that it worked before the work was done and you thought maybe they disconnected some hoses or forgot to reconnect the wiring to the transfer case.

Let me know what you find.
