2001 Ford Explorer Starter?

I changed out my starter a few weeks back and since then, my cars been a paperweight. The lights and everything work, but when I try to crank my car.. nothing.. not a sound. I had a friend check my fuse box while i tried to turn over my car and he saw that the 50 fuse (starter relay/ignition switch) keeps blowing. Is this due to a faulty wiring issue? Im lost and Im at day 28 with no car. Help please.

I would suspect that you have something wired wrong. Did you mess with the solenoid next to the battery?

no. only thing that my hands actually touched were th wiring harness, the starter and the battery.. Im trying to look at it and see where the wiring went wrong. This is my first starter change out so im kinda lost. Im running off of google and wiki information right now

You have a main power feed wire touching ground somewhere. Check the wires at the main post of the starter.
