2001 Ford Explorer Black film on front rims

I recently pruchased a 2001 Ford explorer which runs good . But I have a concern. THere is a build up for a black film on the front rims ?

No problem, it's just brake dust fromt the pads. Wash the rims to keep them from staining. You can use a cramic pad the will give off white dust instead, but should still clean the rims to keep them looking good.
