My drivers side door look will not unlock when I open it. I push down the unlock botton but the lock will not open. I even broke off the door handle trying to unlock it.

All the other door locks work throughout the vehicle. What do I do?

THe electric lock is actuated by an electric actuator. It may be bad. What you need to do is remove the door panel and check to see if it is getting power. If it is, then chances are it needs replaced.
