2000 Ford Explorer 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

My door will not unlock with the remote but will lock with the remote. The door will not unlock with the key. I am able to unlock the door from the inside but has a popping sound like it is hung on something. What could be causing this problem.

Are all doors doing the same or only the driver's door?

Only the driver's door is doing this. All other doors are fine.
