2000 Ford Explorer All Wheel Drive Automatic 118, 00 miles

HAD A COMPLETE BRAKE SYSTEM REPLACED
CALIPERS FRONT &REAR
CERAMIC BRAKE PADS
ALL NEW HARDWARE--SPRINGS ETC
NEW EMERGENCY BRAKE LINE & ADJUSTERS
I HAD TO SOFT OF A BRAKE PETAL TO START WITH--AFTER REPAIRS I HAD YTHE SAME PROBLEM--TOLD IT HAD TO BREAK IB--BS
RETURNED 3 TIMES TO GET ADJUSTMENTS MADE
IT ALL BOILED DOWN TO PROPER ADJUSTMENTS WHICH THEY KEPT TELLING ME THIS CAR HAD AUTOMATIC ADJUSTERS--NOT SO SAID FORD MOTORS--THIS I SHOWED THEM INFO FROM FORD--FINNALY AFTER 3 RETURNS AND MY INSISTANCE DID THE PROBLEM LEAVE
$968 was this worth it?

THat is a lot of money. WHen that many things get replaced, I really have to question if everything was replaced. As far as the adjustment, yes they are adjustable. As far as the cost, as I mentioned, that is a lot of money and due to your frustration, I would say no.

What should one do -i realize the cost was stageringbut I needed good brakes. I did not want for an accident to happen
the repair shop just lost a coustomer mr. Tire

Since the work is already done, there isn't much you can do. In the future, if someone comes up with that many thing that need done, get a second opinion. I hate to see good people get taken.
