There was a squealing (something rubbing on metal) coming from the left front wheel well. I checked the brake discs and they appeared in good shape. I jacked up the front left wheel, turned the wheel full left and spun the tire, then did the same at full right and again at center. There was only a couple of seconds of squeaking during the whole process. I lowered the car and took it out for a quick drive and there was no squeaking at all for the entire 5 minute drive. Any ideas what it may have been? We speculated that maybe a rock was lodged somewhere and my spinning the wheel at full deflections knocked it loose but we want to see if there was anything I should check to be sure there isn't a bigger problem.
