1999 Ford Explorer Plug keep going bad

I keep getting misfire codes in different cyl. When I get one I pull the plug and the plug looks find. Noed oil or nothing on it. When this happens I have to buy a new plug as the one that miss fires is no good any more I'm using auto lite app 103 with the gap set at 54 It never the same plug twice Seams to be happening a lot Been told it could be any thing from vacuum leak in the intake, bad cat, plug injector. Any Ideas

Has this ever occurred more than once in the same cylender? Also, when was the last full tune up?

It had a full tune up back in march. Plugs wires filters etc. I believe it may have happen twice number 6 It would have been a long time between the two miss fires in the same cyl. Around ten months. It may go two months or so before it happens again or it may go two weeks. The last time this happen it was the number 1 plug and the next time it was the number six.
