1999 Ford Explorer O/D Off light begins to blink after abou

1999 Ford Explorer 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive 150, 00 miles

My O/D Off lamp begins to blink after about 5 min. Of driving weather the sw is on or off. The overdrive speed does not change with the blinking.

If the light is flashing, there is a trouble code in the computer. You need to have the computer scanned to identify what is causing this to happen. Many parts stores can do it for you for free.

Have that done and let me know what you find.
