1999 Ford Explorer Ford Explorer not level

My 1999 Ford Explorer has 90,000 miles and I have never replaced the original shocks that came with it. The front driver's side of the vehicle is approximately 2"-3" lower then the rear or rt side of the vehicle. What would cause this "dip" and what would remedy the problem?

Have you checked to make sure the coil spring isn't broken? Is rust an issue on the vehicle?
