Turbine speed sensor fault code, This vehicle does not use the sensor that goes on the end of the speedometer cable. It uses the VSS on the rear axle, as far as I can figure out so far. I replaced the sensor reset the code still get the same error code within 5 miles of driving. As far as all the maintenance books go, nothing on this truck matches the book. No speedometer cable, no sensor on the trans tail shaft. Only one I could find was on top of the rear axle housing, VSS which I replaced.I understand this is also for ABS. Is there some place else I should look? I am at a lose.

It is on the transmission. From under the right-hand side of the vehicle, disengage the wiring harness connector from the VSS. Loosen the VSS hold-down bolt, then pull the VSS out of the transmission housing. The sensor on the rear differential is the ABS sensor. Here is a picture of it.
