1998 Ford Explorer Oil filter is stuck

I destroyed the oil filter trying to get if off and now with a wrench i still cant get enough room to get it off how can I remove the oil filter now???

if all else fails drive a screw driver through the side of the oil filter, use both ends of the driver as leverage to twist the filter off. works everytime ;) i find the filters with that black rough stuff at the end (FRAM brands) to be the easiest to work with, maybe a buck or two more but well worth it if your a do-it-yourselfer.
