I started having this problem 4 months ago. I can go out some days and start my vehicle and some days its like you cut the battery cable in half ,I have no door chime no light and nothing works when i turn the key over. Some tell me its the ignition switch . i took it to a mechanic and he said also that it could be an ignition switch but the price is over 85.00 so he wasnt going to easter egg it because if it wasnt he would have to eat it. So do you think this could be a problem with the computer? It also happens when Im driving down the road and it shuts everything off but my abs light and the dashboard cluster come on and then goes out with no power after that. still sound like ignition module?

Doubtful, your mechanic should be able to test the switch, if he needs the info, get back to me and I will post it, no need to "easter egg" it!
