1998 Ford Explorer Heater Blower

My heater motor will work for a while and then it shuts off. I will turn the motor off and leave it for awhile and then it will work again. Is it the motor needing to be replaced.

It could very possibly be your blower motor resistor and needs to be replaced.
The resistor is located on the side of the blower motor near the vent tube.
After you remove the servo motor and washer/coolant canister you will see a wire harness leading to the resistor. Disconnect the harness and remove the hold down screws to remove the resistor for replacement.
