Hi
My explorer recently has been slipping between gear changes (only between1st and 2nd) and the O/D light has started flashing-could this be the transmission sensor and if so is this easy to repair and where is it located? also will it be ok to still drive until I manage to get the problem fixed?

Check the transmission fluid condition and level if okay bring it in and have it pressure tested.
