1997 Ford Explorer Smell gasoline

There is a gasoline smell when driving car. I start it with the key only.

Have you checked under the hood for leaks? If you smell it when you drive, chances are it is coming from the engine compartment. Check to make sure there are no leaks around the fuel rail and the fuel pressure regulator isn't leaking. THen check each fuel injector to make sure they are not leaking.

Let me know what you find. Also, remember any fuel leak is potentially dangerous.
