1997 Ford Explorer popping in front end

i have a popping in the front of my 1997 explorer. I had it aliened recently and bushings put in ( also replaced shocks ) same problem. It does it when you hit a bump in the road. The mechanic that fixed the bushings said everything looked good. What might be the problem ?

i would check the sway bar bushings and links. it will sound just like a bad shock. hope this helps
