1997 Ford Explorer Four Wheel Drive Automatic 38000 miles

hi i need some help i have a 1997 mint con V6 explorer and i was driveing along at 90mph and the engine just cut out and the revs droped and all that, now i can get it to stat it will turn over but not fire. i have had a man out to see it and he thinks its an eletrical prob but to me its fule starvashoin so i looked at the fule cut off switch and it looks fine. can you help me.
plz get back 2 me ta lewis

You can help narrow it down by spraying carb cleaner into the throttle body with the plate open and then trying to start it.
