1997 Ford Explorer Front headlight

All the headlights work except the left, low beam.
Bulb has been replaced (2 different ones) Exchanged
right one which does work and it does not work on the left, but it still works when put back on the right.
Wiring has been checked; any suggestions. Thank you very much.

HI:
It sounds like either you have a bad socket or a broken / damaged wire. If you check the socket with a test light, are you getting power?
If so, replace the socket. If there is no power, you will need to follow the wiring back looking for damae.
