1997 Ford Explorer Ford Cruise Control Recall

We took our car to the Ford Dealership for this recall.
Two days later the speedometer quit working and now the check engine light is on and the engine will sometimes stop running when applying brakes to slow down. Could these problems be related to the recall fix?

It sure does sound like someone did not put it back the same before it went out to them.
Did you take it back to the dealership and tell them you want your vehicle back the way it was before the cruise control fix?
They will probably give you a hard time the S.O.B's.
