1997 Ford Explorer engine idles

I have a 97 explorer sport model having trouble with it when you drive or sitting in traffic it revs up and down had new idler control vavle on still does it plus had to put 3 heating coil in 6 years is that unheard of?

Check for a vaccum leak for the idle issue.

With the heater cores goign out so fast you may need to have more ground straps added to the coolign system to get rid of the electricity building up in the cooling system.
