I would look for vaccum leaks for the high idle and I would look at the plugs as a start for the breaking up.
Yes, it is very repairable.

What do you mean by 'breaking up' of the plugs?
I have recently replaced the radiator and changed the spark plugs (twice) and coils. This repair fixed all problems until 30-60 days later the same symptoms given reoccur.

If you replaced the plugs and coils, it may be dirty injectors. You will need to have them professionally cleaned, not adding something to the fuel tank.
The compression should also be checked to verify the motor is good.

Okay, thanks!
Changing the plugs and coils, would that have made the engine run better even if the injectors were bad?
