Electrical problem
1997 Ford Explorer

I just want to make sure I don't break anything when I replace a tail light bulb, there are 2 screws on the tail light cover, but I'm not sure if I should just use a flathead to pop it off or if there is another step before I crack this thing literally!

THere should be 2 screws on the inside of the hatch assembly. Have you tried to remove them? Other than that, it should be hinged.
