1997 Ford Explorer Air Conditioning controls

97 Ford Explorer, I get hot air from the Vent or AC positions on the selector, however, the MAX AC position gives me cool air. If I have everything turned off and move the selector from Off to Vent I can hear some faint noise like the baffles are trying to move, same for the AC and MAX positions. Is this typically in the switch, or the lines controlling the baffles?

Hi:
Check the blender door. it is located near the heater core, and it can cause the problem.
