Noises problem
1997 Ford Explorer 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

I replaced gasket for throttle block and o rings for injector due to check engine light being on check engine light it out but when I started vehicle it is making a clicking sort of noise

Can you tell aprox where the sound is coming from? Are there any leaks?

No leaks and it sounds like its coming from top end drivers side thanks dflood

Check to see if it is the AC compressor cycling. If it isn't, remove the serp belt and see if the sound stops. NOTE: Only run the engine without the belt for a few seconds to listen. It will overheat if you run it too long.

If the sounds stops with the belt off, spin all pulleys to see if any have a bad bearing.
