Engine Cooling problem
1996 Ford Explorer 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic 130k miles

My car sometimes wont start. The first time I start the car for the day it ALWAYS starts. But after i drive around for a while and turn it off it won't start for an hour or two. This also only happens when its hot outside. It will try to start but it will just shake. Or it will start for a second and then putter out. Does anyone have any idea what could be wrong and how much it would cost to fix it.

Check your fuel pressure if its within specs if not could be losing pressure thru a leaky injector and fuel pressure regulator and fuel pump check valve creating hard start
